Responsibilities:
- Maintain tax information, records, and relevant work papers for compliance. Prepare tax returns, estimates, extensions, and other required reports accurately and on time.
- Prepare annual personal property tax renditions.
- Perform quarterly and annual state tax provision tasks as well as SOX control tasks. Proactively implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations and prepare technical documents on their impact on Vanguard's tax operations.
- Prepare correspondence and interact with external tax agencies, consultants, and auditors.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience; Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
- Experience with MS365, CoPilot, Oracle, Tableau Prep or Alteryx, OneSource Income Tax, and CCH AnswerConnect preferred.
- CPA or other financial designations preferred.
