State Corporate Tax Analyst

Wayne, PA Full time

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain tax information, records, and relevant work papers for compliance.  Prepare tax returns, estimates, extensions, and other required reports accurately and on time.
  •  Prepare annual personal property tax renditions.
  • Perform quarterly and annual state tax provision tasks as well as SOX control tasks. Proactively implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations and prepare technical documents on their impact on Vanguard's tax operations.
  • Prepare correspondence and interact with external tax agencies, consultants, and auditors.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience; Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
  • Experience with MS365, CoPilot, Oracle, Tableau Prep or Alteryx, OneSource Income Tax, and CCH AnswerConnect preferred.
  • CPA or other financial designations preferred.
