JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential
Makes continual contact with clients to evaluate staffing needs.
Maintains record keeping functions, including patient files and employees files, keeping them in an organized manner and filing on a weekly basis.
Makes continual contact with external employees to determine availability for assignments, maintaining a close working relationship with employees.
Maintains a calendar of availability for employees that is updated as needed to meet employees work schedules.
Handles daily staffing problems in a timely manner, using good judgment in alerting Director or RN Supervisor as necessary.
Maintains a pool of available external employees to meet the staffing needs of the clients. Classified ads are placed to meet recruitment needs. The Director is kept informed when employees are not available to fulfill a specified job classification.
Assists with the hiring of new employees and guides new applicants through the application/orientation process.
Ensures on-call hours are staffed.
Orders and maintains all forms and office supplies.
Addendum (essential for specific dept)
On-call Staffing Coordinator: Coordinates with staffing coordinators to ensure that all after hours and weekends/holidays are covered with on call staff. Stays informed of clients needs and employees that are available to meet these needs during the on call period. Maintains open communication with office staff and supervisory staff in order to provide optimum service to clients. Documents staffing as provided and employee and client issues as they occur. Maintains availability with pager or cell phone as needed to be accessible to calls for the agency. Returns calls in a timely manner. Refers issues appropriately for supervisory intervention, either immediately or on the next work day, as appropriate.

Pay Range
