The Staff Software Engineer is an unique and vital role within Madison Reed that supports each line of business. The Staff Software Engineer role involves designing and leading the development of complex, scalable systems, driving technical strategy, and contributing to the organization’s long-term architectural vision. Working in a cross-functional, agile environment, the engineer collaborates with teammates, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions, mentor engineers at all levels, and influence technical direction across multiple teams while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
This role reports to the team’s Engineering Manager is full time and remote. While remote, this role may travel up to 10% of the time including but not limited to team meetings, Quarterly Business meetings, & company-sponsored events.
The base salary range for this position is between 155,000 and 175,000. At Madison Reed, we aim to pay competitively. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
