You will be working as a part of Lending & Integrated Channels Technology to achieve their strategic objectives through planning, prioritising, delivering and supporting projects and initiatives. Your team’s success will be realised through partnering with business and IT teams across both Lending & Integrated Channels business domain and Technology to deliver beautiful experiences and exceptional capabilities to our branch applications

Roles & Responsibilities:-
- Proven track record of Agile delivery including leading and working on a project from pre-inception through to business and technical delivery, including the support and maintenance of delivered systems
- Ability to lead, direct, coach and guide software developers
- Drive pragmatic and fit for purpose solutions of high technical quality. Act as "Quality Advocate" for the squad, encourage critical thinking mindset and drive prevention of defects over detection of defect
- Identify, define, document and advocate for the most appropriate approaches to achieve stated business goals objectives and deliver the product vision, whilst remaining aligned with organizational target architectures and roadmaps
- Provide tools, expertise, and knowledge to help squad gain a shared understanding of outcome and shared ownership of quality
- Constantly look at ways of modernizing legacy systems and come up with design strategies
- Pro-actively looking for ways to provide faster feedback, including uplift in test automation maturity in the squad
- Support the team in delivering quality outcomes within committed time frames
- Follow secure code practice.
- Stakeholder Management - communication with a range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical at all levels, including explaining complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.
- Passion for modernizing legacy systems while preserving business-critical functionality
Essential Skills: -
- Experience: 10+ years of industry experience as a full-stack engineer
- knowledge on CI/CD and Dev Ops, TDD and BDD, Micro-services, Architecture, Secure Coding Practices , AWS/Cloud
- Development Methodologies: .NET Core/.Net 6/.Net 8, REST APIs, Microservices, experience on .NET is helpful but not must have, streaming platforms like Kafka is good to have too.
- Test Automation: Unit/Integration/Acceptance testing experience with Selenium.
- Frontend Technologies: HTML5, CSS and Javascript. Also strong in one of the JS frameworks - either React (Desired) or Angular
- Programming Languages: Expert in C# with sound knowledge of OOPS concepts and design patterns. Any Java knowledge is good to have.
- CI/CD: Any Git tool for source control. Build tools like TeamCity or Jenkins and experience with deployment tooling like Octopus or similar.
- Databases: Either of the relational databases like MSSQL / Oracle.
- Cloud: Any Cloud offering knowledge is a very strong asset. (Preferred Azure/AWS)
- Monitoring: Familiarization with Splunk or a similar monitoring tool. Any familiarity with performance tooling like AppDynamics is good to have.
- Soft skills: Excellent communication skills. Working experience with Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to Cloud and hands-on experience working with any of the AWS Services. Hands-on on AWS Lambda, EC2, ECS etc becomes an added advantage.
- Developer Awareness to DevOps tooling and security practices.
Education Qualification: -
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
