Verisure, operating under two brand names (Securitas Direct & Verisure) is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Site Reliability Engineer. The role will part of a growing and talented Technology team and will report directly to an Installation and maintenance IT Team Lead.

We now have the opportunity for a Site Reliability Engineer to join us. We are looking for a highly driven, talented and experienced Engineer who manages and develops high quality software applications. Someone ready to become an application owner
Responsibilities will include:
· To actively work on increasing our platform availability, resilience and reliability.
· To understand the service operation, business processes and the software and network architecture of the IoT integration platform, to identify problems between services, signal events, communications, etc.
· To provide continuous improvement measures and implementations to increase service availability, reduce MTTR and increase automation to avoid manual errors through all the delivery pipeline and operational activities.
· To collaborate as a security level in the L2 shifts in case of complex go-live events or critical incidents.
· To collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software.
· To automate and manage development, pre-release and production environments. Create and enhance scripts, collaborate on legacy systems migration.
· To enhance observability: Implement and maintain monitoring and logging systems to ensure availability and optimal performance of business processes, applications and services
· To collaborate with Service Management in Incident/problem management and post-mortems

Required Qualifications:
· Master, B.A in Computer Engineer or Telecommunications.
· High level of English (B2 or higher).
· At least 5 years of experience in IT.
· Knowledge and Experience in:
o Observability and monitoring (ELK, Grafana)
o Manage SRE metrics: SLI (Service Level Indicators), SLO (Service Level Objectives), MTTR (Mean Time to Recovery), latency, error rates, and availability
o Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles
o Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems and server administration
o Experience managing production and pre-production environments based on hybrid On Premise and Cloud environments
o Knowledge of virtualization and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes
o Knowledge of MongoDB
o Message brokers (pub/sub): rabbitMQ, Kafka,…
o Secured Communications:
o Automatization and scripting (Bash, Phyton or Java)
o Knowledge in the use of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef
o Basic networking knowledge (NAT, addressing, BIGIP – Load Balancers, etc).
o Knowledge in AWS cloud services
Will be a plus:
· Knowledge of Prometheus and Datadog
· Experience in Microservices Architectures.
· Event Driven and Event Streaming Architectures
· Distributed System Design/Development
· DevOps Certifications
· Knowledge and experience in software development methodologies, version control tools, continuous integration/deployment (GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, JUnit, Jmeter and SOAPui).
