The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary technical environment to address technical problems within a multi-cultural team.   • Supports projects in the Remote Technical Support Department to boost efficiency.
  • Provide technical communication between Production, R&D, and Global Tech Support.
  • Provide “root cause” analysis and actively take part in resolving technical issues.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to solve problems and improve the company’s inner processes.
  • Conduct postmortem analysis for solved support calls and collaborate on leading continuous improvement processes.
  • Bring together parts issues and collect Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) requests for all types of microscopes and their modules.
  • Actively seek chances to lower installation and warranty costs based on collected data and analyses.
  • Lead assigned RTS tasks, e.g., PPI, Service Documentation requests, CAPA, etc.
  • Seek opportunities to improve product quality.
  • Follow effective documents IMS, EMS, and work on documentation.

How will you get there

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in software, Electronics, Mechanics, or a combination of both education and meaningful work experience.
  • Strong social skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to travel (Approximately 30%).
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaborate within a team.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Knowledge and experience in Product Data Management (ECR\\O or NPI) is advantageous.
  • Proactive and customer-focused.
  • 5+ yrs of experience in SEM Systems

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in District of Columbia is $50.00–$74.37.
