The Structural Analysis Engineer is responsible for performing stress, fracture, and fatigue analysis on aerospace components to ensure structural integrity and compliance with design requirements. This role involves conducting both classical hand calculations and computer-based Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using tools such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, or similar software.

The engineer will develop and document structural test plans and analysis reports for metallic and non-metallic materials, supporting validation and verification activities throughout the product lifecycle. They will assess design parameters, identify potential structural risks, and propose corrective or optimization solutions to improve product performance and reliability.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct stress, fracture and fatigue structural analysis of aerospace components.  

  • Perform structural analysis nature using conventional hand analysis and/ computer analysis.  

  • Works to design parameters to access the structural integrity of metallic and non-metallic aerospace component parts.  

  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of basic scope and complexity.

  • Use and validate CI tools to solve problems. Previous experience in EBU and Nacelle components is very desirable.

 

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Stress Engineer.

  • Strong communication skills with the customer, including clear reporting and proactive engagement.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

  • Experience in classical hand analysis methods used in aerospace applications, along with Finite Element Analysis Tools such as NASTRAN & PATRAN or similar software applications.

  • Understanding of load paths and various aspects of airframe design using metals and composites.

  • Strong technical writing and PC skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of basic scope and complexity.

  • Expresses problems, issues, and opportunities to peers and supervision.

  • Uses and validates SW and CI tools to solve problems. Awareness of assigned tasks and activities on product metrics.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work closely as a team with other international locations.

  • Must have a current travel visa to enter the USA for training and event attendance purposes

 

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Previous experience in EBU & Nacelle components is very desirable.

  • Experience in aircraft structural components static, durability and damage tolerance analysis.

  • Experience of material (Composite & Metallic) or structural testing.
