The Role:
ModernaTX, Inc. seeks a Sr. Software Engineer for its Cambridge, Massachusetts location.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
Develop innovative and intuitive full-stack TypeScript/JavaScript web applications to transform business processes.
Write code, write automated test suites, run automated tests suites, debug, and perform user support.
Work closely with product owners to understand business needs and design solutions.
Apply knowledge of NodeJS, Express JS, PostgreSQL, Sequelize, Type Script, Java Script, AngularJS, Angular, and Bootstrap.
Deploy and improve applications in a constantly evolving Cloud environment.
Monitor and analyze application performance, resilience, and effectiveness. Integrate applications with various systems to drive automation and analytics.
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:
Minimum requirements:
Requires a minimum of a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering (any), or related field and 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Full Stack Engineer, Software Developer, or related position.
Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in the specified fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience.
Must have at least 3 years of experience with:
Web application design and implementation;
Leveraging relational databases to design new application features and troubleshoot application errors;
Optimizing web application performance by tuning database queries, simplifying business logic, and streamlining user interfaces;
Utilizing Angular, AngularJS, ExpressJS, and NodeJS to build user interfaces and encode application logic;
Application Program Interface (API) design and implementation;
Testing and debugging to ensure code quality; and
PostgreSQL, Type Script, Java Script, and Bootstrap.
Up to 30% telecommuting permitted.
The salary range for this role is $145,900 to $234,200. This range reflects the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The minimum target pay for this particular position, based on its primary location, is $187,500 to $234,200. An individual’s placement within the range will depend on several factors, including but not limited to specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, and business or organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, other incentive compensation, or equity award, subject to company plan eligibility criteria and individual performance.
