Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing Confirmation business, a global leader in digital confirmation services that help auditors, banks, and other financial institutions verify financial data quickly and securely. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through new business development and expanding existing client relationships within a defined segment.
 

About the Role:
As a Senior Sales Executive in our Tax & Accounting Professionals (Audit) Confirmation segment, you will drive revenue growth through strategic account management and new business development. You’ll leverage your initiative and business acumen to conduct comprehensive needs analyses, building trust and credibility with stakeholders through deep knowledge of Thomson Reuters' solutions and the tax and accounting industry. The successful Sales Executive has the ability to create customized client presentations, conduct product demos and deliver ROI-focused proposals that demonstrate clear value, accelerate decision-making, positioning you as strategic partner who understands client needs and delivers measurable business impact through tailored solutions.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities with banks using the Confirmation platform.
  • Leads creation and execution of strategy to maximize current and future growth of products and solutions.
  • Demonstrate the use and value of Confirmation and Asset Verification products.
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of products, solutions, and services within the Confirmation offerings.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, presentations, product demonstrations, pricing negotiations, and contract finalization.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships by understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Security and Legal teams to support client acquisition and retention.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data using Salesforce CRM and adhere to sales processes and KPIs.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and Thomson Reuters’ value proposition to effectively position solutions.
  • Confer with and assist in customer-related issues as needed to maintain good customer relations
  • Leverage sales automation tools and data insights to engage prospects and expedite sales cycles


About You

You're a fit for the role of Sales Executive if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in financial technology (FinTech), SaaS, or professional services.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with strong prospecting and closing skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Skilled at conflict resolution and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes
  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite, utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred) and overall technical aptitude

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $178,500 - $331,500. This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
