Under the leadership of the Manager of Donor Experience Research & Insights (DXRI), you will lead the design and execution of multiple customer experience research projects with rigor, creativity, and accountability. Your work will directly influence program development, marketing strategies, and donor engagement initiatives that make a real difference.
What You’ll Do
Lead with Impact: Drive a portfolio of new and evergreen research projects from concept to completion, ensuring excellence in design, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Strategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted research advisor to leadership and cross-functional teams, providing insights that inform enterprise-wide decisions.
Innovate & Inspire: Develop research strategies that push boundaries and deliver actionable recommendations for enhancing donor experiences.
Collaborate & Mentor: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners while guiding and supporting research staff.
Champion Data-Driven Decisions: Translate complex quantitative and qualitative findings into clear, compelling narratives for senior executives.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences (e.g., anthropology, psychology, sociology) required; Master’s preferred.
5–7 years of applied research experience with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
Technical Expertise:
Strong proficiency in mixed-methods research design, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools.
Familiarity with databases and SQL preferred; Spanish language skills a plus.
Leadership & Communication:
Exceptional ability to present insights to senior leaders and influence strategic decisions.
Skilled in managing teams, prioritizing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
Personal Attributes:
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
Committed to confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of research.
This position will be based at our national executive office in Memphis, TN and eligible for hybrid working schedule.
