About the Role:

The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role within the Global AI & Platforms Program Management Office (PMO). This position is primarily responsible for supporting and driving high-impact programs of work within their assigned portfolio. As a seasoned leader and expert, the Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple complex initiatives that often span across verticals and product portfolios, ensuring alignment, execution, and delivery of business outcomes.

This role is critical in fostering organizational effectiveness, transparency, and accountability while enabling innovation and change in the fast-evolving AI and platform ecosystem. They will also serve as the foremost expert on their projects and portfolios—covering progress, issues, metrics, and financials—and represent them confidently to leadership and peers in written, verbal, and other formats.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership: Manage multiple high-complexity programs and projects within assigned product portfolios, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and financials are achieved.

  • Execution Excellence: Partner with global Product Management, Engineering, and Data Science teams to drive disciplined execution, while ensuring optimal resource utilization and capacity management.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and align cross-functional teams across diverse geographies, ensuring clear communication, coordination, and timely delivery.

  • Change Champion: Drive organizational transformation by creating transparency, establishing best practices, and embedding accountability across the PMO and partner teams.

  • Process Improvement: Identify, propose, and implement process improvements across the organization to enhance effectiveness and scalability.

  • Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert in AI-related program delivery, representing portfolio status, challenges, and strategies to leadership in multiple formats (written, verbal, presentations).

  • Mentorship & Talent Development: Mentor and coach junior project managers, informally lead team members, and contribute to talent acquisition through candidate evaluation and recruitment.

  • Special Initiatives: Lead assigned strategic or special projects that improve operations, process efficiency, or program outcomes across the enterprise.

Requirements:

  • Proven Expertise: Extensive experience in project/program management, preferably within AI, data science, and/or software engineering domains.

  • Strategic Execution: Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional, and multi-portfolio programs.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

  • Leadership: Independent, proactive leader who thrives with minimal oversight while driving accountability and results.

  • Change Management: Proven track record of leading organizational change and embedding best practices.

  • Mentorship: Experience coaching and mentoring colleagues to foster growth and professional development.
