We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who thrives on crafting GTM strategy, launching category-defining products, and increasing ARPU across our customer base.

As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Cloudways by DigitalOcean, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing the web hosting industry and AI.The role will report directly to the Director, Product Marketing and will be a key driver of our product narrative, launch excellence, and monetization strategy. You’ll lead cross-functional launch pods, influence roadmap decisions with market-backed insights, and become a trusted voice on how we deliver, communicate, and grow product value for agencies, developers, and SMBs.

What You’ll Be Doing

GTM Leadership & Execution
  • Own and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies from the ground up for Cloudways’ new products and feature rollouts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define launch scope, timing, personas, and KPIs—leading the full GTM lifecycle from beta to scale.
  • Build deep-dive GTM strategy presentations and present to leadership and stakeholder teams.
Growth Enablement & Sales Playbooks
  • Partner with Growth Marketing to build product-specific growth playbooks—with a focus on key add-ons like Cloudflare, DNS Made Easy, and Malware Protection.
  • Equip the sales and success teams with sales enablement content, use-case based decks, objection-handling one-pagers, and competitive talking points.
  • Conduct training sessions on new launches, use cases, and customer pain points.

Market & Customer Insights

  • Collaborate with product and design teams to map TAM, SAM, SOM, uncover product-market fit, and inform roadmap prioritization.
  • Lead competitive intelligence efforts—developing comparison matrices, messaging differentiation, and win/loss analysis.
  • Conduct continuous customer research, including in-depth interviews, surveys (twice annually), and persona updates to keep GTM strategy data-driven and user-first.
Pricing, Packaging, Positioning & Messaging
  • Perform cost analysis and value benchmarking to recommend optimal pricing and packaging models for new and existing services.
  • Craft product positioning and messaging frameworks rooted in competitive differentiation and value-based selling.

Lifecycle Marketing & Enablement

  • Work with products to maintain and evolve the product roadmap and change log.
  • Build product pages, blog content, email sequences, and in-app messaging to support launches and lifecycle stages.
  • Serve as the go-to for internal and external product demos, stakeholder briefings, and launch recaps.

Key Metrics: 

  1. GTM Execution Success Rate
    Track the percentage of successful product launches executed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives (e.g., ARPU growth, customer adoption).
  2. Customer Adoption & Engagement
    Measure customer uptake of new products/features (e.g., usage rates, feature adoption, and customer retention) post-launch, including feedback and satisfaction.
  3. ARPU Growth from New Products
    Track the growth in Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) attributed to new product launches and feature rollouts. This includes cross-sell and up-sell success.
  4. Sales Enablement Impact
    Evaluate the effectiveness of sales and success enablement materials by tracking sales team adoption, win rates, and the impact of objection-handling resources.
  5. Market Intelligence Accuracy
    Measure the impact of competitive analysis and market insights by tracking their influence on product decisions, pricing strategies, and customer messaging effectiveness.

What You’ll Add to DigitalOcean:

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B product marketing or related roles (SaaS, cloud, or WordPress experience preferred).
  • Proven experience building GTM strategies from scratch and driving cross-functional alignment.
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress and developer-first ecosystems.
  • Deep understanding of pricing models, packaging, and monetization strategies.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to present to executives, inspire teams, and influence outcomes.
  • Exceptional storytelling and content creation skills with an eye for crisp, clear, and technically sound messaging.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or technical field required. MBA is a plus.
