The Sr Product Manager will be responsible for:
- Marketing strategy of the brand(s) under his/her responsibility
- Tactics implementation of the brand(s) under his/her responsibility
- Sales Achievement of the brand(s) under his/her responsibility
- Accurate P&L management
- Team member under his/her responsibility
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure the proper strategy in every dimension for each growth brand (according to strategic pyramid guidance), identifying market opportunities to accelerate Abbott’s performance and demand generation while supervising product managers & brand associates related to their portfolio in the implementation / generation of the appropriate strategy for each maintain & base brands
- Generate innovative projects for EPD growth brands according to strategic pyramid guidance in order to support sales force (private hospitals, medical visit & trade sales reps) and accelerate the accomplishment of sales and prescription goals
- Achieve EPD Mexico P&L by brand through the Marketing - Finance governance.
- Lead teammates (direct reports & pairs) through the proper attraction, engagement, retention development and self-development of talent to ensure business plan accomplishment and continuity.
- Guarantee successful NPI launches to ensure business continuity & fortify pipeline to remain competitive in each market of the therapeutic areas in which we compete or want to compete.
- Acts as an Intrapreneur, with a clear business purpose, anticipating and creating value for all stakeholders. Executes with agility, proactively anticipates and addresses unmet customer needs based on insights and data. Experiments and innovates with purpose, delivers innovative business solutions with speed and within a compressed time frame, adapts and pivots faster than competitors. Enhances customer centric co-creation and cross-functional collaboration, instills agile ways of working to better and faster respond to changing business conditions. Drives toward shared values, diverse and inclusive thinking and commitments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or in any related field. Engineering Degree is also desirable.
- Sales representative experience (desirable)
- At least 3 years of experience managing brands (pharma experience desirable)
