The Mobile B2B Account Executive – Public Sector will serve as a trusted advisor and market leader, driving enterprise mobility solutions tailored to mission-driven public sector customers. This role will focus on growing Samsung’s market share within government, and public safety agencies, while delivering exceptional client experiences.
The AE will be responsible for developing long-term solution strategies, shaping go-to-market approaches, and collaborating across Samsung teams to deliver innovative mobile solutions that improve operational efficiency, mission readiness, and citizen services.
Focused Market development will include Gulf of America region through the great plain’s states.
The Account Executive is responsible for securing new revenue and growing Samsung market share within SEA’s Mobile B2B Business Unit. Will set customer engagement strategy in tight coordination with Mobile B2B leaders, other key accounts, product, marketing, and engineering managers. Team member is an experienced, driven professional and industry expert, proven self-starter, and core team player who understands the Public Sector vertical and partner eco-system and can clearly articulate the value that Samsung brings to enterprise customers and technology partners.
This position will need to bring existing customer and technology vendor relationships, develop and maintain strong business relationships with key decision makers across Samsung’s Mobile B2B Sector, as well as identify and qualify business opportunities, and position Samsung for pursuit.
Role and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Position Samsung’s mobile portfolio—including hardware, software, and mission-oriented mobility solutions—to grow market share and revenue in assigned public sector accounts.
- Drive public sector pipeline generation and manage qualified opportunities (3X+ pipeline coverage).
- Develop strong relationships with decision makers, influencers, and C-level leaders (CIO, CTO, CISO) across state, local, education (SLED), and first responder agencies.
- Leverage knowledge of public sector funding cycles, procurement contracts, and budget processes to drive strategic wins.
- Act as a trusted advisor in mobility, helping agencies adopt Samsung technologies for workforce modernization, secure communications, and mission readiness.
- Execute strategic account campaigns and present account plans to leadership using tools such as Salesforce, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.
- Maintain awareness of competitor market share and trends; identify opportunities for Samsung to expand and differentiate.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, engineering, and channel partners to deliver customized solutions.
- Ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded, positioning Samsung as the preferred partner in mobility transformation.
- Support enablement initiatives to educate partners and customers on Samsung’s public sector solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 8+ years in public sector service/sales, with proven success in mobility or enterprise technology.
- If no BS degree, 10-12 years relevant experience.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets – (multi-million).
- Deep understanding of mobile applications (computer aided dispatch, records management and situational awareness software), enterprise mobility, and Android for Enterprise.
- Proven experience navigating public sector procurement, budgets, and contracts.
- Strong background in developing account strategies, executing go-to-market plans, and driving measurable growth.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at executive levels.
- Salesforce CRM proficiency; advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to travel up to 40% to meet customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to transport equipment (up to 75 lbs.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior industry experience as a first responder (law enforcement, fire, EMS) or deep familiarity with public safety mission environments including hardware, software systems used by first responders.
- Understanding of government programs, grants, and agency requirements for secure mobility solutions.
- Knowledge of project/program management principles.
