Xumo, a joint venture between Comcast and Charter Communications, was formed to develop and offer a next-generation streaming platform for the entire entertainment industry. The company consists of three primary lines of business: Xumo devices, Xumo Play, and Xumo Enterprise. Powered by Comcast’s global entertainment platform, Xumo devices feature a world-class user interface with universal voice search capabilities, making it easy for consumers to find and enjoy their favorite streaming content. Xumo Play is a free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service offering hundreds of linear channels and on-demand options. Xumo Enterprise provides tools and services for content creators, distributors, and advertisers to make FAST content more accessible.

Job Summary

Responsible for providing financial and operational analysis to leadership in support of business for Xumo, Comcast’s joint venture focused on free ad-supported streaming (FAST). Key responsibilities include long-range planning, performance reporting, managing & owning various projects, workstreams & taking lead with portions of LRP. Along with strong decision making & strategic insights to support Xumo’s monetization, distribution, and platform strategy.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Partners with leadership to support business planning and operational processes throughout the year. Ensures operational plans are consistent with business objectives.
  • Assists in preparation of Xumo's Long Range Plan and presentation of the plan to executive leadership team.
  • Develops financial and operational objectives. Analyzes financial and operational reports and communicates findings and risks; makes suggestions to improve processes.
  • Supports business unit management and other departments with information requests and special projects.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience/Additional Information:

  • Ideal candidate will have experience in strategic finance, corporate development, consulting, investment banking, etc.
  • Strong candidates will possess modeling and analytical expertise with demonstrated communication skills
  • Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment, with significant independence.
  • Position is office based in Philadelphia, PA (4 days in office & 1 day remote)
