Job Purpose

This position leads the strategic planning and execution of TruStage meetings and/or events. As a member of the Enterprise Marketing and Brand team, this role leads the development of our meeting and event strategies, owns the annual calendar and leads execution teams. This role partners closely with Marketing Strategy, Integrated Media, B2B Distribution Enablement, System Relations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, consistency, execution excellence and measurable impact across all experiences and engagements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a multi-disciplinary team responsible for meeting and/or event strategy and execution – providing coaching and mentorship fostering professional growth and development
  • Lead annual planning for enterprise events and/or partner meetings, in support of enterprise and business specific goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with marketing strategy, brand, and competitive intelligence to ensure event and meeting content aligns with the enterprise content strategy, business value props and customer needs
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and analytics to define KPIs, measure ROI, and continuously improve event and meeting effectiveness.
  • Leverage technology and data to create scalable, program-driven experiences and share insights across teams.
  • Negotiate sponsorships and contracts, manage budgets, and ensure operational excellence.
  • Stay current on best practices for in-person, hybrid, and virtual meeting and events and apply them to enhance customer experience and sales funnel acceleration.
  • Foster strong relationships across internal teams and external partners through proactive communication and collaboration.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, marketing, customer experience, or event strategy.
  • 5+ years of team leadership experience, including coaching and development.
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive change through data-driven insights.
  •  Strong project management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as financial services or insurance preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interest in experiential storytelling and leveraging analytics to drive business outcomes.

  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, PR, or communications preferred.

Position Specific:
 

EVENT

  • Oversee a multi-disciplinary team responsible for event production, planning, speaker bureau management, and tradeshow execution.
  • Based on analysis, leads recommendation development for the distribution of event across acquisition, retention and revenue producing opportunities.
  • Determines the best way to leverage reoccurring / annual events in partnership within broader marketing strategists

MEETING

  • Partners closely with sales, serving as an extension of sales enablement
  • Develop and execute a holistic annual strategy that maximizes key partner meetings such as State League Meetings, Partner Councils, Business Exchange, and Executive Exchange
  • Aligns meeting content to deliver on priority organizational business objectives

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

 

Base Salary Range:

$119,100.00 - $178,700.00
