The Sr. Manager, Group Lead Social Worker supports the success of social workers across multiple groups by ensuring accountability among Division Lead Social Workers, establishing best practices, and implementing social work policies and initiatives. Reporting to the National Social Work team, this role collaborates with field Group leaders, helps develop social work strategies, and supports both Division and field social workers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. As the senior social work field leader, the Group Lead Social Worker develops innovative solutions to improve social work processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directly manages division lead social workers, coaching them on performance to ensure they are successful in their role. This includes coaching to lead through change, collaborating with key stakeholders, and leading through influence.  In addition, this teammate also works directly with the division lead social workers on outlier management with clinic social workers as needed.

  • Works collaboratively with the National Social Work team to evolve and implement social work strategy, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Acts as the SME for survey readiness and is the point person for all social work education and training within their respective geographies/groups.

  • Leads and sets strategies for social work pilots, initiatives, and programs, and is viewed as the social work point of contact for their respective geographies/groups.

  • Collaborates with SDCS, GVPs, and relevant DVPs to align and prioritize social work activities with Village and Group goals and address social worker-related issues within their assigned geographies/groups.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of work-related, relevant social work experience

  • Master's in Social Work Degree required

  • Healthcare experience preferred

  • People Leadership preferred

  • Experience in Dialysis preferred

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as functional proficiency with DaVita-specific applications required

  • State licensure or certification is required if licensure or certification is required in the state where the facility is located.

  • Clinical license (LCSW or equivalent), even if not required by the state preferred

  • 20% travel is required

The Salary Range for the role is $84,000.00 - $133,000.00 per year.

 

 

 

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour, Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour

Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
