Sr. Manager, Delivery Excellence, Forward Impact Engineering and Engagement Teams

Forward Impact Engineering and Engagement Teams deliver rapid outcomes by experimenting, learning fast, and proving what works.

Delivery Excellence Lead drives operational alignment across Forward Impact Engineering and Engagement Commercial Pods by facilitating capacity tracking, resource planning, and portfolio reviews to ensure transparency and accountability. It oversees intake from centralized tool and triage processes, manages request routing across Commercial pods, and maintains frameworks that enable efficient ways of working. The position ensures alignment with enterprise strategies and investment criteria while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.

By driving standardized processes and performance frameworks, this role helps agile pod teams to operate effectively and deliver measurable results. It supports ROI reporting with Value Impact and fosters collaboration with Portfolio & Innovation teams. Ultimately, the position enables prioritization, resource allocation, and operational efficiency, ensuring strategic objectives are met and business partners have clear visibility into outcomes.

Operational Alignment & Governance

  • Contribute to operational alignment across Pods by facilitating capacity tracking, resource planning, and portfolio reviews with accurate reporting.
  • Establish necessary frameworks, systems, and standard ways of working to enable continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Define and maintain team Ways of Working (WoW) to support agile delivery and collaboration.

Portfolio Management & Strategic Planning

  • Facilitate portfolio planning discussions to align initiatives with enterprise strategies and investment criteria.
  • Lead the portfolio reporting process, including monthly data extracts, update meetings, and analysis/reporting on portfolio health.
  • Coordinate quarterly executive portfolio reviews and create reporting decks for leadership.
  • Maintain team related records in centralized portfolio tool and support leadership requests to ensure visibility into program health, risks, progress, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor pipeline, MVP transitions, and overall portfolio health to enable prioritization and accountability.

Resource Management & Capacity Planning

  • Oversee intake related requests, triage, and request routing across Commercial pods.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and capacity planning.
  • Forecast resource needs, identify conflicts, and escalate as necessary.
  • Track resources utilization and recommend optimizations to improve efficiency.
  • Serve as point of contact for leadership requests related to resource planning and execution.
  • Closely collaborate with Operational Excellence colleagues on contractor resourcing.

Performance, Metrics & Enablement

  • Partner with Pod leads, CX CoE Lead and Bench Tool Leads to deliver metrics reporting and performance insights.
  • Establish frameworks for agile pod teams to track measurable results and communicate outcomes to business partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise between COE, pod leads, and Creation Centers to ensure seamless coordination and communication flows.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio & Innovation teams to align priorities and drive execution.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with strong experience.
  • Track record of successfully indirectly leading cross-functional stakeholders alignment
  • Proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills, emphasizing data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities while managing aggressive deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and facilitation skills
  • Practical experience with operational, process improvement, and project management methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to influence key partners and stakeholders
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite tools.
  • Extensive experience with computer use, able to work at a rapid pace in a virtual environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in related field
  • Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry experience
  • Experience driving change in a global, matrixed organization
  • Strong business acumen
  • Deep understanding of the digital healthcare landscape, including emerging trends and technologies.
