The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

Summary of Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Agile Transformation team, focusing on advancing Agile practices, metrics, and mindset across Cyber Engineering and Delivery teams. This role is ideal for someone who blends Agile coaching expertise with data-driven business intelligence design, helping teams understand how work moves through their system, identify constraints, and continuously improve flow and predictability.

The ideal candidate has deep experience guiding teams from reactive or sequential delivery models toward Agile, Lean, and flow-based systems of work, while establishing transparent, meaningful metrics that enable better decision-making. You will help teams engage customers early, define value-based outcomes, and use quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize, forecast, and measure delivery performance.

This role is suited for someone who thrives at the intersection of Agile transformation, analytics, and operational excellence. We are looking for someone passionate about enabling teams to deliver measurable business value with clarity, transparency, and confidence.

What You Will Do:

  • Coach teams to understand and visualize their operational workflow from intake through delivery, using Value Stream Mapping to identify constraints, waste, and improvement opportunities.
  • Design and implement Agile metrics frameworks that track flow efficiency, predictability, and business value using dashboards and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik).
  • Partner with teams and customers to establish value-based prioritization methods such as Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF), cost of delay, and business value scoring.
  • Guide teams in selecting the most appropriate Agile approach (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, SAFe, or Lean-based flow) based on team maturity and operational context.
  • Establish and maintain data standards for Jira, Confluence, and related tools to ensure consistent metric capture and effective performance reporting across teams.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making by teaching teams and leaders how to interpret and act on metrics such as WIP, throughput, cycle time, lead time, flow efficiency, and aging work-in-progress.
  • Facilitate planning and review sessions focused on delivering incremental customer value rather than output alone.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in product, engineering, and architecture to align on delivery cadence, value realization, and reporting standards.
  • Contribute to Agile playbooks and coaching materials, embedding data visualization and metric interpretation as part of standard practice.
  • Enable continuous improvement by building feedback loops that leverage both qualitative team feedback and quantitative performance data.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 10 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 7 years experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in product delivery, requirements management, or operational transformation; 5+ years in Agile, Lean, or process improvement roles.
  • Experience in Agile and Lean frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, SAFe, and Lean-Agile principles, with the ability to tailor practices based on work type and team maturity.
  • Experience in Agile metrics design and implementation, including flow-based metrics, KPI definition, and dashboard/report creation.
  • Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) to design and deliver actionable insights.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Ability to help teams connect data to decisions, improving cycle time, predictability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Certifications such as, SAFe Agile Coach or SAFe Program Consultant.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile lifecycle tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow) and integration with reporting platforms.
  • Experience in regulated industries (aerospace, defense, or cybersecurity) or large-scale transformation environments.
  • Proven success contributing to enterprise-level Agile transformations, particularly where data and metrics were central to driving change.
