The key objective of the Sr. Director Translation & Implementation is to provide strategic vision and leadership for the Implementation Science Translation and Implementation Team. Under the supervision of the VP of Implementation Science, the goal of this team is to translate high quality evidence from across the cancer continuum into practice through robust partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem, including health systems, payors, state coalitions, policy leaders, and practitioners. They will lead and directly supervise a team with two key areas of focus within the ACS LEAP (Leading Evidence Application into Practice) Platform. The knowledge translation team focused on designing and deploying a portfolio of one-to-many programming with the aim of translating and disseminating knowledge to support our organizational mission. And the Implementation Team, whose work focuses on national-scale Quality Improvement Collaboratives and Implementation Grants designed to implement evidence across the cancer continuum into practice. This strategic leader works closely with Sr. Director of Practice Transformation, and the IS Evaluation Team to deploy a cohesive platform of services that meet health systems' needs and capacity through tailored programming and durable solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational support for planning for the Translation and Implementation team, supporting programming, supervision, hiring, training, and team planning to improve productivity and efficiency. (40%)
- Lead and pursue funding opportunities related to cancer-related evidence dissemination in line with pillar strategic priorities. (10%)
- Collaborate closely within the Implementation Science team on shared strategy to more effectively support dissemination and implementation of evidence into practice across the cancer continuum. (5%)
- Disseminate the findings of the team’s projects and programs through channels including peer reviewed publication/presentations, report development, and speaking opportunities. (10%)
- Support and coordinate data and evaluation efforts related to the team’s programmatic portfolio and oversee all reporting to funders. (20%)
- Cultivate and strategically manage relationships with a broad set of healthcare ecosystem partners related to dissemination of evidence across the cancer continuum. (15%)
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Master's Degree
- Preferred Degree: Master's Degree
- Years of experience: 10+
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Strategic awareness of healthcare ecosystem partners needs and gaps related to key evidence across the cancer continuum, especially cancer prevention, screening, early detection and survivorship
- Leadership & Vision: Drives strategic initiatives, motivates teams, and adapts to changing priorities
- Coalition building: Builds networks, collaborates effectively, and balances competing needs
- Results-Driven: Delivers outcomes under pressure while maintaining accountability and quality
- Strategic Planning: Aligns work with organizational goals and translates vision into actionable strategies
- Experience leading coalitions of payors, health departments, cancer coalitions, health systems
- Management and supervision experience
- National/regional presentation and training delivery
- Multi-project management with strict deadline adherence
- Program development, outcome measurement, and evaluation methods
- Health data analysis and statistical interpretation for decision-making
- Current research and best practices in cancer prevention
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Travel 2-5 times per year to internal and forward-facing meetings

The starting rate is $120,900 to $145,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
