Job Overview
The Senior Director of Strategy and Planning will serve as an aide to the President in stewarding the organization’s mission. This role is critical for supporting in the building of the organization and aligning the incoming staff and board towards AMLC’s mission and strategic direction, operating infrastructure, and modeling AMLC’s core values and desired culture. The Senior Director of Strategy and Planning will manage the executive office of the President and help execute the President’s vision and goals. The role will report to the President and sit on the senior leadership team. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, visionary leader with proven experience in building organizations, shaping policy, fundraising, and coalition-building. This is a unique opportunity to shape the national conversation on U.S.–Mexico relations and empower the Mexican-American diaspora at a pivotal moment.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Public Health, Health Administration, or a related field required.
5+ years of work experience preferred; and 2-3+ years of experience working with a principal preferred
Experience advising or supporting senior leaders of an organization, campaign, or government office.
Experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Deep commitment to and experience in building culture and practices centered on equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
Compensation
$133,968.64 - $167,460.80 annuallyCompensation Disclaimer

The range is subject to change.
