As a member of the Enterprise Data & Analytics Team, the Sr. Data Analyst is an everyday partner with multiple departments, including Global Marketing, Category Management, Shared Services & Finance, Global Technology, and Business Unit Leadership. This is a unique opportunity to work on a new, growing team within a large organization.
The Sr. Data Analyst is responsible for delivering analytics projects that drive business results. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to contribute to all aspects of project work, including interpreting business questions and desired outcomes, selecting the appropriate methodology, data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, model building, and creation of polished deliverables that are suitable for internal and external presentation.

Additionally, the candidate should possess the ability to collaborate with others and simply and effectively communicate complex concepts with a non-technical audience.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develop and maintain datasets, dashboards, and reports to deliver actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
Conduct in-depth analyses in areas such as pricing, promotion, merchandising, and customer behavior to evaluate performance and identify opportunities.
Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear, concise way to non-technical audiences and business leaders.
Collaborate with data engineering and other data teams to build and maintain analytic datasets through data querying, cleaning, and transformation.
Define requirements and test cases to validate data accuracy and ensure consistent data quality across systems.
Write efficient queries and leverage analytical programming (e.g., SQL, Python, or R) for data preparation and analysis.
Contribute to analytics documentation, data standards, and process improvements.
Designs, executes, and interprets A/B tests to drive data-informed decisions and optimize business outcomes
Mentor junior analysts and share best practices to strengthen the analytics community.
Follow defined project management processes. Actively participate in project plan development and agile ceremonies (development of backlog, sprint planning, daily standups, retros/reviews) and documentation.
Leverages GenAI to enhance data insights, including semantic search, summarizing user feedback, and generating automated commentary in dashboards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics, or related field.
2+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
Strong SQL or Python skills; experience with data transformation and validation in large datasets.
Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into business insights.
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative coding practices
Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
