Job Summary
The Senior Consumer Deposit Pricing Analyst supports the monitoring, analysis, and reporting of consumer banking deposits. Requires regular production of KPIs, dashboarding and reporting showing historical performance, current volumes, and development of forecasted activity. Accountable for the accuracy of content prepared and the initial development of insights derived from curated data. Will be delegated tasks in support of acquisition, attrition, and competitive intelligence.
Job Responsibilities:
Production of Performance Reporting - Assist in the execution of tools and processes responsible for analyzing client balance flows, behaviors, and portfolio segmentation to assess balance sheet impacts.
Production of Analysis and Insights – Curate research and to support pricing/product changes based on client needs and profitability.
Client Experience & Competitive Intelligence – Coordinate with Consumer Product Management team to ensure that products/offerings are competitively positioned and are achieving desired customer experience in terms of utilization and positive feedback.
Coordination with Other Functions/Groups - Perform adhoc analysis to support business needs.
Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent
Minimum experience required: 4+ Years within Banking/Financial Services industry. Will also consider previous experience within Finance functions at non-financial services organizations.
Experience interpreting data, identifying trends, and preparing analytical reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) (Finance, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics).
Experience with Analysis, Product management, Pricing.
Job Competencies:
Must be proficient in MS Suite with extensive experience in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and mathematical skills, and sound judgment.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills required to concisely and compellingly present strategies to a variety of audiences including senior management.
Demonstrates a strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders by communicating clearly, engaging in proactive collaboration, and leveraging cross functional insights. Aligns relationship building efforts with enterprise goals to accelerate performance and drive strategic results.
Builds trusted client relationships, whether internal or external, by identifying needs and delivering tailored solutions to enhance the overall client experience.
Limited travel (up to 10% of time may be required)
