As a Senior Brand Designer your core responsibilities will include crafting effective and visually striking communications for both external and internal audiences. You will collaborate closely with the Creative team, Brand Marketing, and e-Commerce to nurture and inspire brand love, as we continue to expand our reach.
As a member of YETI’s Brand Design Team, you must bring hands-on skills, a systems-driven mindset, and strategic perspective. This role is critical to driving the overall look and feel, shaping product narratives, and crafting premium content.
Responsibilities:
Brainstorm, concept, collaborate, comp, and present innovative and exciting creative that garners buy-in while netting measurable results.
Create design solutions and strategic marketing assets that deliver impact and improve customer loyalty for marketing projects including, but not limited to email, out of home, print, web banners, digital experiences, social assets, etc.
Establish and work with consistency across multiple channels
Elevate the craft of the work and deliver premium, modern design solutions.
Work closely with the Design and Production Teams to execute and scale all marketing and advertising efforts.
Proactive thinking around improving creative team processes, tools, and templates.
Share best practices and innovative creative solutions from the competitive landscape with a continuous pulse on current trends and noteworthy activities.
Handle difficult situations with grace while under pressure.
Mentor and motivate junior team members via high-performance fun environment, a strong sense of urgency, quality standards, creative exploration, innovation, and continuous learning
Must be a team player, able to work within tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude.
Retouch photography as needed from lifestyle and studio collections.
Participate and build concepts for in-house photo shoots that support new product launches, campaign ideas, editorial needs, and more.
Prepare detailed shot lists and collaborate with photographers during lifestyle photo shoots.
Maintain organized file systems for cross-functional collaboration.
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and carefully refine design elements to ensure brand consistency and high-quality output across all deliverables.
Qualifications and Attributes:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in a collaborative advertising and/or marketing design role.
Experience concepting and executing holistic campaigns
Expert level Figma and Adobe Suite program skills.
Experience art directing photography and image making. Strong, creative design sense for premium products.
Strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems, even when they are not fully defined
Ability to present and sell creative ideas
Highly organized with good project management skills. Able to juggle multiple, and sometimes, conflicting priorities and needs.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Able to work in a fast moving, ever-changing cross-functional team environment.
Proactive in nature and driven to act with a sense of urgency; able to work well under pressure and with demanding deadlines.
Optimistic, energetic, and naturally brings the fun to the office.
