Who we are looking for

Seeking a Software Quality Assurance Test Functional/Automation Engineer – Develop and execute automated software test scripts for the Workflow Appian business unit of State Street Corporation

What you will be responsible for

You will

  • Analyze business and technical specifications
  • Define functional and regression test cases
  • Create automation test scripts that provide coverage for defined test cases
  • Execute automation scripts and capture/save test backup documentation
  • Work closely and collaborate with other team members in a Kanban/Agile team environment
  • Report and track defects/bugs
  • Work with global teams, including business users, architects, technical personnel, to understand business processes and system requirements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical groups, both internal and external stakeholders

  • BPM/Workflow Management Testing, Functional testing
  • Proficient in Tricentis TOSCA for Test Automation is must.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Proficient in XRay/Jira for test case and defect tracking is must.
  • Proficient in JIRA is required.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task and to take the initiative when needed
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with all partners in the Software Development Lifecycle such as business and development.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • The candidate must have at least 4+ years of experience as a software quality assurance test automation engineer.
  • Work experience in Banking/Financial services industry is a must
  • Knowledge in testing Workflow/Appian applications is a plus
  • Any other test automation (Selenium, etc.) skill is preferred
  • Knowledge Appian Testing, DB testing, API Testing is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
