WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this role you will join a team of hardworking, multifaceted, and passionate colleagues who are driving AI and Technology for Finance. You will be involved in business process improvement projects, providing expert guidance to other Finance teams looking to utilize AI and Technology to drive process and ways of working improvements including assisting some with implementation and development. You will also be expected to act as an SME for other collaboration projects as well, depending on the needs of the team and business.

  • Reviewing and analyzing business processes, functions, and procedures to determine the most effective business systems software to meet the collaboration and productivity needs of the organization.

  • Establishing systems specifications and objectives, based on business requirements and cost-effectiveness, and provides recommendations to management personnel.

  • The coordination of testing and implementation of the system software, including conversion of data to the new system, and working with application support personnel to resolve system problems.

  • Creating integrations & automations between systems that are aligned with process design plans.

  • Creating awareness of the vendor product release plans and create a partnership for the delivery of new functionalities in partnership with other team members.

  • The ability to simultaneously handle various tasks & prioritize them while operating within a large range of technologies.

  • Willingness to take on tasks outside of their current knowledge base while being thorough and able to communicate effectively both written and verbally in technical and non-technical language to an array of multi-functional teams.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree & 1 year of Information Systems or data analytics experience

  • Bachelor's degree & 2 years of Information Systems or data analytics experience

  • Associates degree  & 4 years of Information Systems or data analytics experience

AND

  • 1+ year of experience with ChatGPT/MS Copilot

  • Skilled with formulating data and ideas into concise and meaningful visual communication in tools

  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in data analytics, visualization, or automation tools such as Power BI, Power Platforms, and other tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously

  • Extensive problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills are required

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to concisely present various subjects to leadership and coordinate all functional leads to provide requested data/update

  • Able to work independently and provide recommendations on strategies for meeting Finance team needs
