What Our Expectations are
This role is to support Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions Aftermarket. P&WC supports over 13 000 operators in the world with more than 40 000 active spare parts. In the spare parts team, we use data and analytics that allow to make the right decisions to meet our business objectives and meet our customer’s needs.
We are looking for someone who will monitor incoming orders, requiring action through accurate and prompt repair PO creation. You will create POs in SAP, by utilizing Excel and Power BI tools to direct to the correct Repair Supplier, and will work with a Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions Buyer to resolve any questions, in order to maintain a streamlined process to correctly manage these orders, until shipped. If you like databases, new technologies and like a dynamic work environment, this opportunity is for you.
Function Description
You will work directly with the Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions Supplier Management Team to meet the group’s objectives. This will require a strong ability to understand the requirements, escalate when appropriate, and execute promptly. Ownership until resolution is a key requirement.
What You Will Do:
Monitor Incoming Parts throughout the day
Review Power BI to direct appropriately
Review any special instruction from sales
Record PO Creation as directed by the tools/Work Instructions
Record Work Stoppages
Escalate Work Stoppages to designated Supplier Management Specialist as needed
Execute PO creation
Communicate any lingering issue until resolved
Required Qualifications and Skills:
2-5 years’ Experience
Bachelor’s degree
Excellent MS Office (Excel / VBA) skills
SAP and Power BI knowledge an asset
Clear and effective communicator with strong communication skills
Team player with a passion for excellence
