Ingredion is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Analyst, General Accounting IGBS to join our team in Guadalajara. This role is key to ensuring accurate financial reporting and driving process improvements across LATAM and other assigned regions.

As a Sr. Analyst, General Accounting IGBS, you will lead assigned accounting tasks and project initiatives to drive business impact while fostering an environment of learning and development. You will collaborate with the Associate Manager on both day-to-day and strategic initiatives, and support training efforts for new and current team members.

This role reports to the Accounting Senior Manager, Integrated Global Services GDL Site.

What will you do: 

  • Lead an accounting team to deliver high-quality services in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure all daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly accounting activities are completed within documented controls and deadlines.
  • Prepare and publish internal month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting.
  • Perform journal entries, reclassifications, accruals, and reconciliations including GR/IR accounts and intercompany transactions.
  • Support SOX compliance and internal/external audit processes.
  • Analyze financial information and compile reports for the Global Consolidations team.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Attend SOX reviews and audits, providing required financial documentation.

What you will bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Strong computer skills including SAP, Excel (advanced), Word, and PowerPoint.
