Sr. Advisor Onboarding & Transition Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct proactive outbound calls to potential advisor recruits, effectively communicating the value proposition of Manulife Wealth and securing appointments for follow-up conversations with field leaders and recruiters.
  • Execute on the end-to-end recruiting process (Recruiting, contracting, transitions and onboarding) for advisors moving from other firms to Manulife Wealth (and other wealth lines of businesses), ensuring minimal disruption to their business
  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new advisors, including account setup and integration with existing systems.
  • Act as support for our new advisors transitioning their books of business to Manulife Wealth Inc. and other wealth lines of businesses
  • Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and improve overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with key partners to ensure that all new advisors receive comprehensive training and support during their transition period.
  • Develop and maintain recruiting, contracting and onboarding materials and resources to facilitate the process.
  • Provide personalized support to advisors during their transition, addressing any challenges and ensuring a smooth integration.
  • Implement innovative solutions to streamline processes and enhance advisor satisfaction.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including recruitment, training, compliance, and IT teams.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication throughout the onboarding and transition process.
  • Provide continuous support to existing advisors, addressing their transition needs throughout their careers.


How will you create impact?
This position reports to the Director, Advisor Onboarding & Transitions and directly supports the initiatives being managed and the accompanying change management.

Skills:

  • Ability to quickly build rapport with advisors.
  • Strong knowledge of technology used by advisors including back-office systems, portfolio management tools, financial planning software, etc. and how they fit into an advisor practice.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships.
  • Ability to effectively partner with internal stakeholders to drive results
  • Thrives in a dynamic and fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Team player with solid interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong listening, consultative, and relationship management skills
  • Detail oriented, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to resolve diverse complex situations creatively


Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to implement and deliver solutions in complex environment with competing resources & constraints
  • Ability to thrive in a high-profile, high-pressure environment with time-compressed deadlines and limited resources
  • Exceptional data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple onboarding processes simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships and escalations.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferably with an IIROC or MFDA firm is an asset
  • Ability to travel across Canada around 30% of the time

Salary range is expected to be between

$71,925.00 CAD - $119,875.00 CAD
