Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated professional Sr. Administrative Staff Coordinator, Raytheon Accounting department to provide office management support to Assistant Controllers, Senior directors and their teams. The successful candidate can effectively manage under time constraints, in a fast-paced work environment, and can multi-task. The candidate must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, technically savvy, and possess excellent organizational skills. The role performs a wide range of administrative tasks. This role also requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of information.

This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Please note that this position will support customers in the Eastern Time Zone

What You Will Do:

  • Provide support to the SBU Accounting Assistant Controller:
  • Calendar management
  • Meeting and training support
  • Travel arrangements
  • Expense reports
  • Organizational Chart Updates
  • Issue Communications on behalf of director
  • Help plan and support department and staff events
  • Prepare presentations/charts as required
  • Gathers, compiles and reports on information requested
  • Ad hoc support for SBU Accounting leaders and staff
  • Provide support to other Accounting Senior Directors and teams:
  • Schedule meetings
  • Travel and expenses
  • Room reservations and invites for onsite group meetings/events
  • Provide vacation coverage and support to the Controller administrative assistant
  • Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining documents/files, arranging meetings, catering, requesting office and IT supplies, making proper referrals, and sending, receiving, referring, and answering emails
  • Support approvals processing for policy requirements and document retention
  • Support onboarding new employees into Accounting group
  • Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures
  • Working independently on special assignments, handling of confidential documents/information, and other administrative duties.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience scheduling meeting coordination and logistics.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.  RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position. 

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Previous Administrative or Office Support Experience: prior experience in roles involving general administrative or office support tasks.
  • Concur Travel & Expense Software
  • Microsoft Office
  • Aerospace industry experience.

The salary range for this role is 56,000 USD - 112,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
