We are seeking an experienced and motivated Specialist, IT Operations (Web application) to join our dynamic team in the Centre of IT Services (CITS). The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all IT needs for faculty, staff and researchers in the Nanyang Business School (NBS), while ensuring compliance with CITS' IT policies. He/She will possess expertise in analysis and diagnosis tools and will exhibit a strong analytical mindset in delivering effective solutions that align with the organization’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Run infrastructure/system operations in Nanyang Business School (NBS)

  • Manage and monitor IT systems and infrastructure across NBS.

  • Provide first-line technical support and troubleshoot IT issues.

  • Maintain IT resources and assist with system usage and procurement.

  • Collaborate with departments to streamline processes and implement IT solutions.

Maintain service level agreements and service improvements, and other areas

  • Maintain service-level objectives and targets, monitoring these objectives to ensure that requirements are met or exceeded.

  • Maintain client satisfaction metrics and service procedures, constantly reviewing and analyzing these metrics to propose recommendations to improve performance and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in IT operations, system administration, or user support within a corporate or educational environment.

  • Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting Microsoft-related software, applications, and services across both Windows and macOS platforms.

  • Familiar with network environments, standard office applications, and educational technology systems.

  • Experience in using Windows imaging tools such as BitOSDT, MDT or equivalent solutions is an advantage.

  • Experience in automation and workflow tools such as Power Automate, SharePoint, or similar platforms is an advantage.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive approach to issue resolution.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at various levels in the organization.

  • A team player with good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • Able to serve as the first point of contact and functional expert for supported IT systems and services.
