We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Specialist to join our Source to Contract team within the Procurement organization in Warsaw. This role is central to enabling efficient, compliant, and scalable contracting processes that power Moderna’s global business. You will be instrumental in executing daily contract operations, guiding internal stakeholders through the full lifecycle of agreements, and leveraging digital tools to optimize our contracting infrastructure. Working across cross-functional teams—Procurement, FP&A, Legal, and Contract Management—you will ensure operational excellence, process transparency, and best-in-class support. This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to Moderna’s contracting transformation while gaining exposure to cutting-edge enterprise tools and global collaboration frameworks. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening the contracting foundation needed to scale mRNA innovation globally.


Here’s What You’ll Do:

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Managing incoming contract requests, conducting quality reviews, executing the signature process, and supporting purchase requisition creation

  • Overseeing full lifecycle tracking from request through to executed contracts

  • Assisting with coordination of contract assignments within the Contract Management team

  • Supporting record evaluation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance using digital contracting platforms

  • Collaborating with Procurement Category Management to align contract content with strategic sourcing goals

  • Supporting stakeholder communications to ensure contracts meet value delivery expectations

  • Maintaining and updating reports on contract status and key process metrics

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Vendor onboarding and contract data maintenance

  • Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order reconciliation and issue management

  • Drafting, reviewing, and editing a wide variety of commercial contracts including consulting, vendor, and collaboration agreements

  • Supporting training material development and leading contracting process training sessions

  • Driving continuous process improvements and enhancements to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable contracting processes

    You’ll work closely with digital tools and data-driven systems to enable Moderna’s Source to Contract function. Embracing automation, compliance dashboards, and digital contract libraries will be critical to scaling efficiency and driving the future of procurement and legal operations.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree required; additional certifications (e.g., Paralegal or Contract Management) are a plus

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in contract review, drafting, or management.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Understanding of key legal and commercial contract terms and business practices

  • Familiarity with CLM systems (e.g., Agiloft), MS Office, and collaboration tools. Knowledge of legal and commercial terms and concepts and familiarity with basic business contracts

  • Familiarity of Formal and informal competitive bidding principles and processes and legal requirements

  • This role is expected to be in office 70% of the time with flexibility to work from home up to 30%

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience managing contracts, including tracking documents through the contracting lifecycle, contract compliance items, and keeping organized records

  • Able to work independently and as part of a high functioning team in a fast-paced environment

  • Sound reasoning skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and ethical judgment within broadly defined practices and policies

  • Organizational skills and high level of attention to detail

  • Experience working at a life sciences or medical company preferred but not required.

  • Familiarity with CLM’s, Agiloft, MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Working independently with general guidance from supervisor

  • Making decisions and exercising good judgment; demonstrating political astuteness.

  • Demonstrates professionalism, tact, and composure when navigating complex or high-pressure interactions

  • Maintaining confidentiality of all matters
