Position Summary
Responsibilities:
- Create Sketches, digital art, matt paintings, concept art to meet the game design and application requirements.
- Get acquainted with the processes set for art development of the games projects.
- Participate in transitioning the designs to the developers, reviews, and transitions of the games to the testers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish technical specifications and deliver solutions that match business needs.
- Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns and developing standard operating procedures.
- Recommend and implement technology and process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and training of junior game artists.
- Serve as advisor, nurture, and coach junior team members as well as allocating work as necessary.
- Gather the product and domain knowledge as you work and strive to be an SME.
Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills ( oral and written)
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Story board skills to explain game play mechanics
- Excellent live sketching skills to communicate visually
- Strong knowledge in colours and composition
Technical Skills Required :
- Strong knowledge in Adobe Photoshop.
- strong knowledge in Adobe Illustrator.
- Adobe After effects is a plus.
- Strong Digital Drawing skills.
- BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) or relevant university certification.
- 5 plus years of experience in relevant job.
