The Clover Care Services organization delivers proactive support and care to our members through our Clover Home Care teams, and quality improvement services to our aligned insurance plan providers through our practice engagement team. The Special Project Lead (Provider Enablement), within Clover Care Services will support the office of the CEO and CGO, driving cross-functional initiatives that improve the experience, efficiency, and performance of our provider network and internal teams.
The Special Projects Lead works across clinical, operational, and product teams to stand up scalable systems that strengthen provider engagement, optimize workflows, and ultimately enhance Clover’s relationships with providers. They bring clarity, accountability, and structure to projects that directly enable providers to deliver better outcomes for their patients.
This role is a highly visible, impact-oriented role, working at the intersection of strategy, execution, and practice operations.
As a Special Project Lead (Provider Enablement), you will:
- Manage the design and execution of high-impact initiatives that advance provider success (i.e., Clover Assistant onboarding optimization, provider communication, and performance improvement), including implementation planning, deployment, and ongoing performance tracking of the initiatives.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable project plans with milestones, owners, and measurable outcomes, and owning accountability for successful execution.
- Partner with leadership to prioritize work that drives provider satisfaction, quality performance, and network partnerships.
- Build and refine the processes, tools, and reporting frameworks that support effective provider engagement and internal processes.
- Collaborate with teams across Care Delivery, Clinical Operations, and Analytics to ensure practices and internal teams have the data and insights they need to thrive.
- Support the operational rollout of practice enablement programs, including communication plans, training materials, and performance dashboards.
- Serve as the connective tissue between internal Clover teams and external provider partners — ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Anticipate challenges and proactively design systems or interventions to maintain executional momentum.
- Develop scalable playbooks and best practices that can be replicated across markets and partnerships.
- Gather and synthesize feedback from providers to inform strategic and operational improvements.
- Partner with data and analytics teams to track provider performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend interventions.
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership to guide decision-making.
Success in this role looks like:
- First 90 Days:
- Learn Clover’s provider engagement model, systems, and data infrastructure.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and begin supporting active enablement projects.
- First 6 Months:
- Lead multiple cross-functional projects improving provider and internal team experience.
- Stand up at least one new scalable system or process that streamlines practice engagement.
- First Year:
- Demonstrate measurable impact on provider satisfaction, quality performance, and workflow efficiency.
- Serve as a trusted operational leader and strategic partner within the Provider Enablement organization.

- You have 5–8 years of experience in management consulting, healthcare operations, or complex program/project management, ideally within provider enablement, value-based care, or healthcare consulting.
- You understand physician practices, including workflows, incentive structures, and challenges in clinical delivery.

- You are structured, analytical, and outcome-oriented, able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- You build strong relationships and drive alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders.

- You lead through clarity, collaboration, and accountability.
- You have strong analytical skills, including advanced MS Excel and Google Sheets skills.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $175,000. Final pay is based on several factors including but not limited to internal equity, market data, and the applicant’s education, work experience, certifications, etc.
