JOB SUMMARY:

The Southwest Industrial Program Services Regional Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery, growth, and operational excellence of industrial maintenance programs across multiple client sites in the mining, oil & gas, and heavy industrial sectors. This role provides strategic direction, drives regional business development, and ensures the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of large-scale conveyor belting projects, including conveyor belt services, and general process infrastructure.

Acting as the key regional leader, the Southwest Industrial Program Services Regional Manager manages a team of field operations staff, partners closely with clients and internal stakeholders, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This position plays a critical role in aligning field operations with corporate objectives, scaling service capabilities, and fostering client trust through exceptional performance and relationship management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all industrial maintenance operations across the assigned region, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and customer expectations.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, field staff, and support personnel to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality belting and maintenance services.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key industrial clients; serve as the senior point of contact for regional project performance, issue resolution, and business planning.
  • Establish service rates, support MSA’s and agreements with customers while ensuring compliance for their specific site requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (customer services, planning and scheduling, engineering, safety, procurement, HR) to support project execution, workforce development, and resource optimization.
  • Lead regional forecasting, budgeting, and reporting; manage P&L accountability and drive operational efficiency across all projects.
  • Support and grow the business through proactive identification of new opportunities within existing accounts and expansion into new client sites or service areas.
  • Champion a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout all operations.
  • Monitor regional performance metrics, track KPIs, and drive initiatives to improve productivity, client satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and industry best practices across all project sites.
  • Work as a “team player” with co-workers in a respectful and supportive manner.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Seek and participate in development and training opportunities for self and staff.
  • Participate in periodic management and executive meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS:

This position will supervise Industrial Maintenance field staff, and support personnel.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Advanced knowledge of the industrial, mining, and oil & gas construction industries and demonstrated ability to read and interpret contracts, proposals, and other related documents.
  • Technical understanding of process systems, piping, conveyor systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
  • Ability to align regional operations with long-term business objectives and client strategies.
  • Skilled in building trust and delivering value to high-profile industrial clients.
  • Excellent business acumen, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers and team-members in a professional manner.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performance teams in remote or logistically complex environments.
  • Committed to mentoring and developing internal talent at all levels.
  • Intermediate knowledge of project management and proposal development best practices and concepts.
  • Technical knowledge of various field construction concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Presentation skills with ability to read audience and tailor message to its needs.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Customer Relations Management software systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to successfully operate tools and machinery.
  • Ability to use sales processes to uncover customer objections/concerns, and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on new service and project opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success in managing client relationships, project portfolios, budgets, and regional operations.
  • Skilled in organizing resources, establishing priorities, meeting deadlines, and general time management.
  • Ability to prepare accurate budgets and cost estimates.
  • Ability to create, read, and understand complex contract documents.
  • Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical business practices.
  • Use data to drive decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Comfortable managing change, uncertainty, evolving client needs, and managing multiple projects simultaneously in industrial environments.

  • Ability to travel for work-related purposes (up to 50% of the time).
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time in indoor and outdoor industrial environments.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, detect unobvious facts and issues, and exercise resourcefulness in resolving problems.
  • Ability to work in a Native Corporation multi-business environment.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule sometimes including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to travel by air and road to remote sites as needed.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered on a year-for-year basis.
  • Ten (10) or more years of progressive experience in conveyor belting, industrial maintenance, construction, or operations management within the mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience at the Superintendent, Project Manager, or equivalent level, with responsibility for managing teams and multiple concurrent projects required.
  • Previous experience leading and developing high-performance teams in remote or logistically complex environments preferred.
  • Valid state Driver’s License and qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Company’s Driving Policy.
  • Ability to pass drug, driving, and background screening.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Brice Equipment has a fast-paced multi-tasking office environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. This role requires regular travel to mining, oil & gas, and industrial client sites across Arizona and surrounding areas. At times, work is performed outside of the office at indoor and outdoor job sites. Flexibility in work schedule may be required based on project needs, including extended hours or rotational assignments, and frequent interaction with field teams in dynamic and challenging environments.
