JOB SUMMARY:

The Southwest Industrial Program Services Planner will support our Southwest Industrial Program Services team. This part-time position plays a critical role in the planning, coordination, and scheduling of conveyor belt installations, routine and emergency process maintenance, and conveyor system servicing for clients in the mining, aggregate, and oil & gas sectors. This position is responsible for coordinating field resources, managing job schedules, and maintaining clear communication between internal teams and customers to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Plan and schedule conveyor belt installations, process maintenance, and system servicing across client sites in the Southwest region.
  • Coordinate field service teams and subcontractors to align with customer timelines and project requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date service calendars, job tracking tools, and internal reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with the Program Services Manager and sales teams to prioritize jobs, manage customer expectations, and ensure job readiness.
  • Assist in resource planning including crew availability, equipment logistics, and material readiness.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm schedules, site access requirements, and safety protocols.
  • Support compliance with all safety regulations, job site protocols, and internal procedures.
  • Track and analyze service data to support continuous improvement in scheduling efficiency and service delivery.
  • Seek and participate in development and training opportunities.
  • Work as a “team player” with co-workers in a respectful and supportive manner.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Intermediate knowledge of industrial, mining, and oil & gas construction industries concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • General understanding of process systems, piping, conveyor systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
  • Skilled in building trust and delivering value to high-profile industrial clients.
  • Strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality across field operations while maintaining compliance and ethical business practices.
  • Ability to use data to drive decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Comfortably manage change, uncertainty, and evolving client needs in industrial environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent), and ERP or work order systems.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, detect unobvious facts and issues, and exercise resourcefulness in resolving problems.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers and team-members professionally, with timely follow-up.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and customers, with exceptional follow-up skills. 
  • Skilled in organizing resources, establishing priorities, meeting deadlines, and general time management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Ability to do business ethically with customers, vendors, and co-workers. 
  • Ability to comply with standard policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work productively under pressure.
  • Ability to travel for work-related purposes (up to 50% of the time).
  • Ability to work in a Native Corporation multi-business environment.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule sometimes including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two (2) + years of experience in industrial scheduling, project coordination, or service planning required.
  • Experience in mining, aggregate, or oil & gas industries preferred.
  • Familiarity with conveyor systems, industrial maintenance processes, or field service operations is a strong plus.
  • Location being hired based in or familiar with the Southwest U.S. region preferred.
  • Valid state driver’s license and qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Company’s Driving Policy.
  • Ability to pass drug, driving, and background screening.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Brice Equipment has a fast-paced multi-tasking office environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. This role is able to work in a remote or hybrid environment, with occasional site visits or regional meetings as needed. The incumbent must be able to respond to scheduling needs during standard working hours, with occasional after-hours coordination in urgent scenarios. At times, work is performed outside of the office at indoor and outdoor job sites.  Adaptability regarding schedule and design changes, and occasional overtime for immediate field support or bid processing may be necessary.
