Sourcing Specialist - IM&S Procurement Japan

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate locally with MKS|Atotech stakeholders to establish strong relationships
• Drive indirect procurement projects, ensuring tendering and bidding regulations as well as company internal policies and procedures are complied with
• Support our Principle Indirect Sourcing Expert in sourcing matters and documentation
• Manage quality and risks of service and goods being subscribed
• Drive and enhance vendor performance through continuous optimization efforts
• Support global initiatives to reach target savings and compliance
• Promote indirect procurement guidelines and exchange of best practices professionally

REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience gained from multi-entity and/or cross functional environment in procurement of indirect materials and services in Japanese market
• Experience in planning, executing and managing both OPEX and CAPEX tenders complying with designated guidelines and rules
• Experience working in a global organization
• Strong negotiation skills
• Confidence and credibility with excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
• Written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese.
