Who we are looking for

State Street Global Technology Services (GTS) Process Governance is seeking a solutions designer to lead the design, implementation, and oversight of scalable enterprise processes.  You should possess strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, organizational, and communication skills. You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to analyze existing processes, identify opportunities for standardization, and implement sustainable solutions that optimize portfolio excellence.  Your initial focus will be on managing the GTS demand pipeline, but you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise within other Process Governance disciplines.  Our team values lightweight processes, continuous improvement, clear communication, and transparency.

What you will be responsible for

  • Understanding common pain points and inefficiencies in the demand management process, and design and develop a common demand management framework that can be scalable for the enterprise.
  • Collaborating across the GTS organization to understand how business and technology teams identify, estimate, prioritize, and plan for emerging technology projects and programs.
  • Facilitate process mapping and documentation, identifying areas for improvement to enhance overall program effectiveness.
  • Create and refine processes focused on reliability, continual improvement, automation, and scaling.
  • Coordinate with teams to support solution implementation, ensuring alignment with existing processes and requirements.
  • Track and report on program performance, identifying risks and potential improvements.
  • Identify KPIs and success metrics, collect and analyze data, and make information visible.

  • Strong organizational skills with experience in project planning, documentation, and timeline management.
  • Showing initiative and generating ideas without prompting.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment, partner with virtual teams, and work independently.
  • Curiosity and courage of conviction to ask questions and address complex issues.
  • Strong execution, follow-through, accountability, and results focus.

Education and preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial services or a related industry, including engaging with leadership executives and driving strategic change programs.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies is a plus.

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $132,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
