We seek a highly skilled and experienced Lead Machine Learning Engineer with a PhD and extensive expertise in large language models (LLMs), multi-agent systems, and flow engineering. The ideal candidate will not only have a strong technical background but also the drive to mentor and educate our machine learning team and advocate for the adoption of new and emerging technologies.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive innovation as a technical leader, build strong relationships and ensure the successful development and deployment of LLMs
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to integrate our LLMs into various applications and workflows, providing technical guidance and support as needed
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the performance and effectiveness of our LLMs in various applications and workflows
- Design and develop novel LLM architectures that meet specific business requirements or identify opportunities for improvement in existing models
- Explore new techniques, algorithms, and tools to stay ahead of the curve
- Identify and curate high-quality datasets that align with business objectives and are suitable for training, validating, and testing LLMs
- Explore alternative data sources, create synthetic data, and develop custom data generation techniques
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing and deploying large language models (LLMs) and a deep understanding of their architectures and applications
- Strong background in multi-agent systems, flow engineering, and related AI technologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of machine learning engineers and data scientists
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
- Professional experience developing Python libraries for machine-learning applications. Strong background in Pytorch, HuggingFace, Langchain/LlamaIndex and other ML libraries.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
- A track record of published research in reputable journals or conferences is a plus
