Job Description:

We are looking for Software Technical Consultant to join our team!

How you will make your mark:

  • Responsible for implementing part or all of the technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design.
  • Occasionally responsible for providing a detailed technical design for enterprise solutions.
  • Understand a broad spectrum of company technology in order to provide part or all of a detailed technical design which meets customer requirements.
  • Often lead small to medium technical projects.
  • Work with and under the direction of the Project/Technical Manager and with customer nominated representatives.
  • Liaise with Solutions Architect as appropriate.
  • Provide technical support and input on the application of technology to a defined business segment.
  • Provide advice on solution and integration opportunities to defined segments.
  • Provide technical leadership on specific integration activities that are part of an engagement.
  • Provide planning and design support for the development of solution architectures that will be implemented in a multiple system environment.
  • Communicate across client community, and is viewed as adding value.
  • Demonstrate execution of the company strategy.
  • Contribute to knowledge tools and communities, and ensure project learnings are documented and shared.
  • Role models Knowledge sharing and re-use within practice or profession.
  • Proactively encourage membership and contributions of others to professional community. Use professions to meet the relevant certification and professional standards.
  • Produce internally published material such as knowledge briefs, service delivery kit components or modules, etc.

About you:

  • Client Focus: Demonstrate the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into effective technical implementations and remote consulting capabilities. This includes attending remotely meetings with client/partners/customers and other key players.
  • Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a strong willingness and attitude to learn and dynamically adopt new technologies relevant to the role from client special needs/requests.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Study, create, review and update comprehensive technical reports, configuration documentation (especially firmware, software and networking customer configuration), and other relevant documentation from pre-sale and architect to support smooth implemented of different solutions/projects.
  • Technical Collaboration: Strong skills in coordinating technical work with local/remote colleagues with emphasis on ensuring technical type of tasks are sequenced to avoid delays or negative impacts.
  • Server Hardware & Firmware: basic experience with server hardware, including firmware flashing and configuration (knowledge of HPE server hardware is considered as an advantage).
  • Scripting & Automation: Develop, test and utilize basic scripts (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) and programming skills to automate routine tasks within especially for Linux and Windows Server environments. This also fundamental DevOps concepts and contributes to the implementation of related practices.
  • System Configuration & Management: Install, configure, and maintain various operating systems (e.g. Linux, Windows Server, VMware), ensuring optimal performance and stability with maximum respect to the customer requested configuration. This includes to manage automated operating system installation processes using technologies such as PXE booting and network-based installation methods.
  • Networking and Security: Configure of various network devices especially network switches (knowledge of HPE networking is considered as an advantage) . Including troubleshooting connectivity issues and demonstrating a solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols. Knowledge of network security best practices and standards.
  • Virtualization Fundamentals: Assist with the deployment and basic management of virtualized environments.
  • Services and API Interaction: Experience with DHCP, DNS, AD, SSH, RDP services configurations.  Work with RESTful APIs and similar technologies for configuration and data exchange (JSON or XML knowledge is a must).
  • Storage related technologies: understand to the RAID types, SAN, iSCSI, NFS, LVM (knowledge of HPE storages is considered as advantage).

For Slovakia location minimum salary starting from 2250 EUR gross per month
