The Data Center and AI platform simulation team is transforming the way our product firmware and software are developed, integrated and tested in a modern, distributed, cloud computing environment. We build high-performance system simulators using Simics that serve as the product of our future. Great simulators result in leadership products by simulating our architecture and software before committing to our product execution. We are looking for a software engineering intern for Simics modeling of Datacenter Products.
The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
Software development and automation, driving initiatives and projects from design through implementation and deployment, system debug, researching and support.
Designing, architecting, and developing system simulation solutions.
Exercising judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches.
Assess risks and identify efficient approaches to deliver high quality solutions in timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
Active student in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related engineering field.
At least 1 year of experience in software development and/or validation (university projects count).
At least 1 year of experience in one of the following languages: C++, Python, or C (university projects count).
Intermediate to Advanced English level and communication skills.
Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience in Simics, QEMU or other simulation technologies.
Knowledge in computer architecture.
Experience in system software development.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Work Model for this Role
