Software Engineer II, Engineering. Southfield, MI.

  • Design and develop software. Improve existing code. Apply team coding, documenting, and testing standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and communicate application changes.
  • Write unit tests and validate software against acceptance criteria.
  • Debug problems.
  • Guide and aid less experienced software engineers.
  • Requires bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field and one year of experience with software development.
  • Experience must include: creating detailed design documents based on business requirements, changing existing code, managing applications with login functionality, developing REST-based web services, debugging, and use of Java, Mockito, JUnit, and SpringBoot.
