Process Overview

Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets businesses including Equities, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client service processes for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses.

Job Description

It is middelware developer role and individual contribution. Design and implement API/Microservices  for middleware application providing integration services to business applications. Services needs to be developed using Java/Mule based on middleware application.Should be able to create  design document -HLD/LLD,  participate in Coding, Unit testing, System Integration testing, UAT, performance testing  and implementation

Responsibilities

• • Flexibility in adapting to team requirements and have the attitude of meeting deliverables with Quality
  • Ensuring adherence to development standards, best practices and high quality levels in all deliverables
  • Act as a consultant during project engagements and bring value in every transactions
  •Understand business requirements, should be able to create design artifacts such as HLD/LLD and interface specification documents 
  •Should be able to create  design document -HLD/LLD,  participate in Coding, Unit testing, , System Integration testing, UAT, performance testing  and implementation
  •Participate/host calls independently with LOB/partner teams requirement gathering meetings and proactively clarify doubts
  •Take ownership of project changes and work with project team/Scrum master to co-ordinate and deliver projects
  •Collaborate efficiently with global teams working in different time zones (SGT, IST, EST etc.).
  •Ability to work in a fast paced agile environment
  •Should be dedicated to learning the existing Application functionality and develop Subject Matter Experts
  •Application support, triage and troubleshoot issues in lower environments and release support
  •Own the task assigned and keep all the stakeholders informed about the status
  •Requires clear and timely communication to management.  should be able to go into details as needed
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and zeal to acquire domain knowledge
  • Actively involved in Process improvements and automations

Requirements

Education - B.E./ B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Certifications, If Any

Experience Range:  6 - 8 years

Foundational Skill: 

• •Strong hands with Java, webservices and XML technologies  min 4 years of experience
  •Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ESB Mule min 2 years of experience.
  •Experience in implementation of middleware integration projects end to end 
  •Working knowledge with code repository github or Bitbucket 
  •Exposure to Continuous Integration Pipeline (Jenkins, bitbucket/GitHub)
  •Good understanding of Linux, DB2/oracle and SQL scripts and Stored Procedure
  •Must understand agile development approach and adhere to agile practices
  •Highly committed and ability to work in fast paced environment against tight deadlines
  •Positive attitude to resolve problems and  ability to work odd hours to support the business demands
  •Good written/verbal communication skills.
   

• Desired skills:

• •Payment domain knowledge 
  •Familiar with XML standards and Rest webservices
  • Mule 4.x technology
  • Basic understanding of UI technologies like Angular JS, HTML5 etc

Work Timings – 11:30 am – 8:30 pm
