The Position: We are looking for a software developer to help us to build an infrastructure based in Kubernetes and Microservices. The infrastructure team's mission is to bring a common framework and common solutions and guidance to all Entrust applications and services. We are looking for a candidate with strong Backend Development experience who has or is prepared to develop skills with Go Language, we are looking for this person to become the authority on Go Development.

Your new responsibilities

Design and develop an infrastructure based in Kubernetes container orchestration and its ecosystem
Work with a wide variety of teams within the company to architect the solution
Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations
Help other teams develop their application to be Kubernetes native application

Essential Skills and Experience

Software Development Experience
Golang knowledge preferable, but backend programming Node.js and C/C++ as alternative background is valued
Experience with scripting languages, like Bash.
Knowledge of containerization technologies, specially with Docker orchestrators like Kubernetes or Swarm
Experience with provisioning tools (Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
Knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL) and no-relational (MongoDB) databases.
Familiarity with Agile processes (Kanban, Scrum, etc.)

Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience.
