Major league baseball

Social Media Content Producer (London)

London, UK Full Time

Join the Major League Baseball International team as we continue to grow the game across Europe. We believe baseball is something else - a sport full of moments you can’t predict, players you can’t forget, and traditions that connect generations.

First and foremost, we tell the story of baseball. But we also love how the game collides with everything around it – culture, creativity and community. From streetwear to stadium snacks, from movies to music, we show how baseball connects to the things people already love.

We’re looking for a Social Media Content Producer: a creator who can design, edit and produce content that feels true to our creative positioning. You’ll be hands-on in Photoshop, occasionally working in motion or cutting short social edits, and you’ll help guide and support design-focused agency work on smaller projects. You don’t need to come in as a baseball expert, but you should be eager to learn and understand the sport as you go.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce daily social-first graphics in Photoshop, including news headlines, game scores, player hero posts, match-ups, fan spotlights, cultural moments and other engagement-driving graphics
  • Adapt and localise creative templates from global and agency partners, maintaining brand integrity while injecting regional relevance.
  • Create light motion and video assets such as endboards, text overlays and basic edits for use on Reels, TikToks and highlight videos.
  • Support the development of creative briefs for external design agencies and help shape feedback and delivery.
  • Curate and create content around cultural verticals (food, fashion, music, travel, film) to engage new and existing fans.
  • Source and organise assets through MLB’s internal media systems and coordinate with global teams for content acquisition.
  • Stay on top of social trends, formats and sports culture to inform creative direction.
  • Assisting with channel publishing and short-form social shoots.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum three years’ experience creating content for social platforms (brand, agency or media).
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop; working knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro - additionally, mobile-first apps eg CapCut/Edits is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to design platform-native creative for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X with an understanding of what drives engagement across each platform.
  • Comfortable working within and adapting from brand guidelines.
  • Passion for sport and culture, with an instinct for what feels relevant to Gen Z and young European audiences.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables
  • Team player with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Bring creative flair to MLB Europe’s social feeds, making content that feels contemporary, relatable and thumb-stopping - you should know about social hooks!
  • Champion MLB’s blend of sport and culture, ensuring our visual storytelling connects authentically with both fans and new audiences.
  • Help evolve MLB Europe’s visual identity across social, supporting the continued growth of the brand.

Contract: 12-month fixed-term, with the possibility of extension
