The Opportunity 

We are seeking a hands-on Snowflake Data Architect with deep expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data architecture solutions. This role blends technical leadership with solution delivery, supporting business intelligence, advanced analytics, and enterprise data strategy. You’ll work in a fast-paced, product-driven environment, architecting modern data ecosystems and helping shape Datasite’s cloud-native data platform. Experience with Microsoft Fabric or equivalent Lakehouse architectures, and a deep interest in emerging data platforms is a strong plus.

Location:  Remote US

Key Responsibilities 

  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using Snowflake. 
  • Design and maintain robust data models, ELT/ETL pipelines, and data integration frameworks. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs. 
  • Optimize Snowflake usage for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability. 
  • Lead data migration initiatives from legacy systems to Snowflake. 
  • Coordinate with the Data Governance team to ensure data quality, lineage, documentation, and compliance. 
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues to ensure availability, reliability, and accuracy across platforms. 

Qualifications 

  • Required:  5+ years of proven expertise in Snowflake architecture, development, and administration.  
  • Strongly Preferred: Experience in Microsoft Fabric or equivalent and Lakehouse architecture in unified analytics. 
  • Strong proficiency in data warehouse architecture and lifecycle management. 
  • Extensive experience in data modeling and designing scalable data warehouses. 
  • Preferred:  Hands-on experience with ELT/ETL tools and workflow automation (e.g., dbt, Matillion, Airflow). 
  • Experience with CI/CD processes and DevOps practices in data environments. 
  • Experience integrating data from platforms like Salesforce and Workday. 
  • Exposure to non-relational databases and modern data structures (e.g., MongoDB, NoSQL). 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally with various groups.

Work Location & Flexibility

This position can be located remotely however if the candidate is based in our Minneapolis or New York City locations the office follows a hybrid work model. Employees in these locations are expected to work on-site a minimum of two days per week. Please note that specific business units or role requirements may necessitate additional in-office days based on team collaboration needs or operational priorities.

The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position based on a good faith assessment of the role and market data at the time of posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate’s compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position. This position may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or overtime if applicable. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), a retirement savings plan, paid time off, and other employee benefits. Specific details will be provided during the interview process. Datasite reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.

$141,700.00 - $247,700.00
