Job Purpose:

  • The Site Scheduler will play a critical role in optimizing the site’s production schedules to ensure seamless alignment between external demand (customer) and internal requirements (resource constraints, maintenance, validations, NPIs and other operational requirements). This position demands strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of SAP ECC, and excellent interpersonal capabilities to collaborate across functions

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to deliver a plan to ensure on-time materials & components availability as well as shipment of all finished goods as requested by internal and external customers with an effective inventory level (On Time in Full - OTIF, Stock Out / Predicted Stock Out - SO / PSO, Inventory)
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed and stable production schedules using SAP ECC to meet customer demands while balancing internal requirements such as maintenance, validation activities, trials, Artwork changes and new product introductions (NPIs) (SAP, Schedule Stability, NPIs/Artwork changes)
  • Provide priorities within Materials Scheduling, Supply Chain, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Technical, Engineering, and other relevant departments to achieve customer service and financial goals by leading MPS meeting and supporting Daily Flow/Release Meetings. (OTIF, Inventory, Communication)
  • Monitor Production Plan is executed by Operational areas by measuring Key Performance Indicators in production (Conformance to Plan – CTP, Conformance to Volume – CTV) and product is released to Customer as planned (Conformance to Release - CTR), on time in full (OTIF)
  • Evaluates and implements when appropriate, all SAP systems enhancements to maximize utilization of automated planning and scheduling (SAP, Continuous Improvement)
  • Responsible for the accuracy of Planning master data / parameters in SAP ECC system to assure effective and optimized planning using system (SAP)
  • Support Slow Moving / Obsolete Process (SLOBs) by reducing Write Off Risks, attending meeting and taking actions (preventive and corrective) to optimize quality of site stock. (Inventory, Write Off)
  • Ensure Quality and Safety Metrics are met (Deviations, Change Control, Mylearning, Near Miss, 0 Accidents) as well as Global SOP are followed (Safety, Quality)
  • Identify and implement improvements to scheduling internal processes, challenging status-quo and non-adding value activities. (Continuous Improvement)
  • Support maintenance of area SOPs, maintaining area compliant with periodic review and local regulations
  • Problem Solving Mindset to be able to identify bottlenecks and offer solutions for the different stakeholders

Required Knowledge:

  • Experience in Site Scheduling
  • Proficiency in SAP ECC for production planning and scheduling
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High communication, Interpersonal skills, and team mindset
