About the role…
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of SPOC (Single Point of Contact) Advisor within Likewise Sheffield. 

Key duties you will undertake are:

  • Managing all calls coming into the service including screening enquiries, prescribing queries, booking appointments via electronic diary management and connecting the callers through to other staff.
  • Gathering accurate information from individuals contacting the SPOC using excellent communication skills in order to direct them to the correct element of the service
  • Completing Triages
  • Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and wellbeing outcomes for individuals

About you…

You will have a passion for making a difference, and ensuring fair chances for all should be at the core of everything you do. Experience of working with vulnerable people and the issues facing those who misuse substances is necessary along with the ability to deal with a range of queries from those accessing our service, their loved ones and other professionals.

You will have a GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent), have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be proficient in using Microsoft Office programmes.
