The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking Shipside Operations Specialist to join the 787 Program Boeing South Carolina Interior Responsibility Center Operations Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift!
This position will provide critical production support to the Delivery Center including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality.
Primary Responsibilities:
Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization.
Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
Analyzes and interprets data.
Provides feedback on assessment results.
Assist organizations in identifying reoccurring and high impact issues.
Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address reoccurring and high impact issues.
Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items.
Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates.
Works under general direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
3+ years of experience with operations analysis.
3+ years of experience with root cause corrective analysis.
3+ years of experience of aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing experience
Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work any shift, overtime, holidays and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Proficient in using CMES software.
Proficient in REDARS, PSDS, and BAC specifications.
2+ years of experience in a supportive LSCC role.
3+ years of experience in the aerospace industry.
3+ years of experience in rapid problem-solving
Experience working with live customers.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
