Job Title: Shipping & Logistics Coordinator

Schedule: Days, Monday – Friday 

SUMMARY 
The Shipping & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the tracking and execution of specimen shipments. This position will pack and ship in accordance to IATA regulations. The Shipping & Logistics Coordinator will work closely with the clinical trials specimen management shipping team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages to intended sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Shipping of UN3373 Biological Substances Cat B (specimens) to investigator sites, referral laboratories and inter company (ACM) laboratories Pack specimens in accordance to IATA regulations

  • Creation of shipping documentation for all shipments (Domestic & International)

  • Setup shipping container (label, dry ice, courier label, etc.)

  • QC samples to shipping container

  • Ensuring accurate dispatch of all CTSM Shipments

  • Inventory management of shipping supplies and work with procurement for ordering

  • Create and review all relevant shipping documentation for both domestic and international shipments 

  • Ensuring all shipments are adequately monitored with courier 

  • Liaise with Project Management, Clinical Trials Administrators and CTSM for shipment updates

  • Handle day-to-day queries that may arise both internal/external

  • Assist other areas of logistics where required 

  • Responsible for ensuring that all the above processes are performed in accordance with IATA protocol

  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS degree or 1 year experience in shipping, logistics or supply chain

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clinical Trials Specimen Management Shipping Experience 

  • BS degree in supply chain or logistics preferred


REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

  • IATA Certification within 30 days of hire
